Dr. Sahar Mehr
I am Dr. Sahar Mehr, general and cosmetic dentist. I started my career in 2005 and joined the South Bay community in 2020. I am genuinely grateful for the opportunity of providing dental care to the beloved people of Torrance and South Bay.
After receiving my DDS degree from USC school of dentistry, one of the most well-known dental schools in country, I have devoted my life to excelling at my job and providing high quality dental care for my patients. Being passionate about dentistry, I continuously perform research and attend continuing education courses to keep myself updated with recent technologies and data in the dental field; as a result, I have published several articles in peer reviewed journals.
I understand that many patients remember their previous dental care with stress and tension. I am totally familiar with these feelings when my patients are sitting in dental chair for the first time. Hence my focus is on comforting them, earning their trust, and providing a stress-free atmosphere in our office. As a private practice owner and practitioner, I highly value the doctor-patient relationship and try my best to address their concerns.
One of my favorite aspects of dentistry is smile makeovers. Making a natural-looking smile comes with deep attention to details; I love the stories behind each smile, which guides me to give them their own version of smile and the confidence they deserve.
I love making new friends and chatting with people, and in my spare time I enjoy reading books, cooking, and hiking with my husband.
